About Your Tutor

I am a caring, encouraging and creative tutor who holds a Qualified Teacher Status. I have been fortunate in my teaching carer to teach in both the independent and state sector and hold over 12 years’ experience within a range of educational settings.

I have obtained qualifications in Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) that certify me to teach those that have been diagnosed with a SpLD and those who have SpLD tendencies. My qualifications also certify me to carryout assessments to diagnose for SpLDs.

I have taught a diverse range of pupils some of whom hold a variety of needs. I have considerable experience in Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, Dyscalculia, ASD, behavioural issues and pupils with English as an additional language.

My tutoring to date has been supporting pupils from 4  year olds to 17 year olds (phonics, early writing and maths, sign language, SATS, GCSE's and working with specific pupils on their anxiety.)

I have been working in the field of Specific Learning Difficulties for over 9 years and I am a member of the Professional Association of Teachers of Students with Specific Learning Difficulties (Patoss ltd) and the British Dyslexia Association (BDA).
